Art of Persuasion: Learning the Power of Art and Images. A photography workshop by Artist Lau Eng Seng

Lau Eng Seng, the third and final artist to present at 'Young Singapore Artists' at KEEPERS: Singapore Design Collective, offers a very special photography workshop for both enthusiasts and novices.

Looking at the influence of art in today's society, the workshop aims to make participants understand the power of art through a brief walkthrough of the history of art and images.

With this background, participants will be guided to create images objectively to convince or persuade viewers of their intentions through the photographs taken.

Workshop Pre-requisites:

  1. Participants must be aged 12 and above.
  2. Participants are allowed to use any kind of image capturing device from a DSLR to mobile telephone camera.
  3. Participants are required to transfer or email the images for sharing purposes at the workshop.

‘The Art of Persuasion’ photography workshop is held in conjunction with Lau Eng Seng’s exhibition Till We Meet Again: Rochor Centre, Singapore from January 4-15 2016, part of the series ‘Young Singapore Artists’ at KEEPERS.
